Ojibwe Loom Beading

 

Sorry, this class is full. Join this new class to learn about Ojibwe Loom Beading. Experienced Loom Beader,  Anishinaabe descendent ( Ojibwe) Dawn Anderson, will guide participants in the art of Ojibwe loom beading. You will learn to bead on a loom and will complete a bracelet. The hand-crafted loom will be yours to take home and continue this Ojibwe art. An Ojibwe loom beading is used to make jewelry, clothing accessories, and other historical arts. Beading is a symbol of Native American Heritage as represented in the many types of artwork and ceremonial clothing for POW Wows. Dawn learned the Ojibwae art in childhood.  You will learn to bead on a loom and will complete a bracelet. The loom will be yours to take home and continue this Ojibwe art.
