BASIC BEGINNING MEDITATION (VIDEO)
Community Education is offering this Video Beginning Meditation class. This class is taught by a Local Meditation Teacher in four sessions. In this class, we learn how to do the simplest meditations and what meditation is. In each session, we will learn one very simple, classic meditation. Meditation is a practice, and the goal of this class is to give you the basics so you can create a strong meditation practice for your own purposes. You'll be able to try a few classic practices and then practice on your own. If you practice consistently for about 30 days, you will begin to experience good changes, such as feeling more peaceful or having lower blood pressure.

Meditation helps during times of stress. Meditation can reduce anxiety, increase positivity and open us to new spiritual growth. While some meditation is religious, many meditation techniques are not religious at all. The key to all meditation is regular practice, combined with various meditation skills that we develop as we practice. In this class we will learn a variety of meditation practices while we focus on reducing stress. You will need to practice your meditation techniques every day.
This class is for beginners’ others are welcome, but this class will focus on beginning techniques
