Find out about being an In-Home Care Worker

This class has been canceled. As an in-home care worker, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks that center around providing personal care and health-related services to consumers that are unable to perform these tasks for themselves. You may also help consumers to complete household chores, including laundry, light cleaning, and meal preparation. You may take the consumer into the community to meet their community engagement needs.

It may not be an easy job but it is a very rewarding one. As an in-home care worker, you'll be able to lighten the workload that sometimes burdens the consumer and their families. You'll be able to give them peace of mind and make a life-changing difference to people who are in need of your help.

In this class, you will learn about the requirements, including training, expected duties, and flexibility that can help you better decide if this is the right job for you.
