American Red Cross Babysitting 2023

We plan to offer Babysitting on June 5, 2023.  This course is for youth 11 to 15 years of age interested in becoming responsible and safe babysitters. This training will help participants develop skills in leadership, professionalism, basic care, safety, safe play, and first aid.

Students must pre-register for this class and pay in advance. In addition, students must read the provided textbook before the class session.  The student must be 11  by June 1.

Instructor: Sue Pasmick              Class Size: 6-15                         Cost: $85 including the book. Payment must be received before June 1st.

The certificate is an additional cost of $35.

Sue Pasmick

Instructor Sue Pasmick has taught CPR, First Aid, and Wilderness First Aid courses for local Camps, Ely Community Education, Northeast Range Community Education, and Vermilion Community College. In addition, Sue teaches Red Cross swimming classes and Youth Babysitting classes. As a nurse, she worked for many years at the Ely Hospital. Sue is an experienced, enthusiastic, and successful instructor.
