2023 Paula McKenzie’s Begining Dog Obedience
Do you have a new puppy or dog in your life? Want to improve your new dog's behavior? Develop a connection between you and your dog and have fun! Paula’s class will focus on positive reinforcement for participants and their dogs. "Beginning Dog Obedience Class." No dog is too old for this class. If your pup is less than 6 months see the note below.
This class will cover the basic command skills such as sit, down, heel, come when called, and stay. Dogs will learn to socialize while their humans learn to effectively communicate with them. Paula helps you and your l dog to communicate. Your dog will learn to hear your commands and respond appropriately. Much more than your basic obedience training! Increase your communication. Choke Chain, six-foot leash, and motivational treats of your choice.

About The Instructor
Paula McKenzie has spent a good portion of her life working with dogs. She has acquired a vast amount of experience in all aspects of ‘a dog’s life’, from years of working with dogs of all sizes, shapes, and breeds. She has taught Obedience Classes for over ten years for Ely Community Education. In the past Paula helped train and work with certified therapy dogs. She also helped teach reading skills to elementary students through the Reading to Rover Program.
Paula breeds English Labs and Brittany's, trains dogs in everything from basic dog obedience to agility training and hunting. She has participated has shown several State champions.
