1.      Band Lessons are WEEK C this week. (Mr. Hauta)
 
2.      Needed** Creative students from grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 to help plan a Middle School Paw Pride Celebration! Anyone in grades 5-8 is welcome; especially needed are students interested in art, video, music, performing. Please attend an organizational meeting on Tuesday, February 5th, from 3:05 to 3:45 p.m. in the media center. Please see Mrs. Kess or Ms. Pender for more information. (Mrs. Kess)
 
3.      Dodgeball for Ducklings : Key Club will be selling tickets to grades 7-12 during lunch today to get into the Dodgeball games. It costs $1 for the week. You can also get a ticket next week at the gym when you come to watch. You need to show your ticket each day before you enter. (J. Hakala)
 
4.      Flower Sales:   Band students will be selling carnations in the cafeteria during junior & senior high lunch this week. Flowers are $2 each or 3 for $5. Flowers will be delivered on Valentine’s Day (Mr. Hauta)
 
5.      Ala Carte line for 5-8 grade lunch this week - Grades 7 & 8 will go first. (Mrs. Kess)
 
6.      There will be Concurrent Enrollment Program parent and student information meeting held on Wednesday, February 6th at 5:00pm in the media center. If you are planning to take Chemistry, Physics, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus for college credit next school year, you are encouraged to attend. (Ms. Pender)
 
7.      Ely Art Club will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 6th from 3:10 – 5:00 p.m. in room 206 for students in grades 6-12.  (Mrs. Oelke)

1.      Pep Rally: Students in grades 5-12 will be excused from class at 8:40 a.m. today to go to the gym for a pep rally. (Mrs. Kess)

1.      Boys’ Basketball Team members will be dismissed at 2:30 today for their in Littlefork. (Coach McDonald)

3.      Grades 5 & 6: Remember to wear your red & white, school spirit shirt, or paw pride Friday for a chance to win a prize! (Mrs. Kess)

7.      National Honor Society will meet today 7:30am in the media center. (Ms. Pender)
