1.      Sports Cleats of any kind should not be worn in the school building any time by any person. (Mrs. Kess)

3.      Students in the Airplane Flying & Birding classes on Friday: Please turn in your Parent Permission Slips by Friday morning. (M. Maidl)
 
4.      May 10th Day of Fun!  You will attend your “fun day” class 2nd hour through advisory period, attendance will be taken in. Students will attend their regular 1st , 4th & 5th hr. classes. At 1:45 Students will go to the home baseball field to watch the Ely Timberwolves Baseball Team play Littlefork.   Go Wolves!  (M. Maidl)
 
5.      Concession Stand will be open at the baseball game tomorrow serving cheeseburgers, hotdogs, taco boats, soda/Powerade, nacho’s pretzel’s and candy. (Mr. Ivancich)

11. Boys’ Golf will leave at 3:00 p.m. today and Monday, May 13th for their meet in Babbitt. (Coach Simonich)
 
12. “Black Light” Dance for 9th – 12th  tonight, at 9:00 p.m. at Studio North, $5 admission. Wear white! (C. DeRemee)
 
13. There will be a volleyball meeting in the media center during advisory for all 8-12 grade girls who will be playing volleyball this fall on Tuesday, May 14th. (Coach Penke)
 
14. “Spring Fling” Semi-Formal Dance Grades 7-9 will be May 18th from 8:00-11:00 p.m. in the Memorial Cafeteria. Admission is $6.00. ( L. Nelson)

1.      Seniors -   Remember that your graduation cap & gown picture (individual & group) will be taken  today at 11:00 after the senior awards assembly. If you are going to purchase your picture bring your Enstroms envelope that day. (R. Erickson)
 
2.      Grades 7-12 will attend the Senior Awards presentation today. First hour teachers will escort students to the auditorium at the end of 1st hr. (Mrs. Kess)
 
3.      Junior/Senior Banquet is tonight,  at 6:00 p.m. at Amici’s. Anyone who has not paid , please bring $20 with you to pay there. (J. Hart)

7.      Media Center: The Memorial Media Center check-out will be closing today except for special projects. Please contact Mrs. Klun if you need additional assistance. (Mrs. Klun)

9.      Sports Pictures: Enstrom’s will be here on Wednesday, May 8 for softball, baseball, track and golf pictures. Your coaches know what time your pictures will be. (Ms. Kingsley)
 
10. Grades 5 & 6: The athletic department is looking for fifth or sixth grade students to work at baseball games as foul ball shaggers. The pay is $10.00 per student per game. Two students are needed for each game. There are approximately 8 home games. Write your full name on a piece of paper and ask your teacher to forward it to Mr. Omerza. (Mr. Omerza)
 
11. The Ely Music & Drama Organization has applications in the counseling office for fine arts summer camp scholarships. There are three scholarships, one for $200 and two for $100. Applications must be returned to the office by May 15th. Questions – call Joan Larson 365-5003. (Ms. Pender)
