5.      Class Registration 2013-2014:  Ms. Pender will meet with Mr. DeRemee’s  & Hohenstein’s sciences class on Tuesday, Feb. 26th to talk with students about registering for next year classes.  (Ms. Pender)
 
6.      Graduation Caps & Gowns   and Class Ring  order forms are in the office if needed for Sophomores and Seniors.  (R. Erickson)
 
7.      Sophomores:  Reminder that Jostens will be here on Thursday, Feb. 28th  at 9:00a.m. in Mr. Lah’s room to collect class ring orders.  (R. Erickson)
                                                          
 
8.      Boys’ Basketball players  will be dismissed at 2:20 on Tuesday, Feb. 26th for their game in Superior.  (Coach McDonald)
 
9.      Accuplacer Test  for students who qualify  in grades 10 & 11 will be Wednesday, Feb. 27th.  Grade 10 will report to the computer lab at the start of 1st hr.  Grade 11 will report at the start of 5th hr.  (Ms. Pender)

4.      Winter Frolic Royalty, Cheerleaders , Sr. High Band and Dance team members will be dismissed at 10:50 today to get ready for the pep rally.  (Mrs. Lassi)
 
5.      Student Council Members who are delivering Lollipops will be excused at 1:05 today to make your deliveries.  (Mrs. Lassi)

4.      All Seniors and Sophomores:  Jostens will be in Mr. Lah’s room today   at 9:00 a.m. to meet with seniors regarding graduation cap & gowns and announcements.   Sophomores will meet in Mr. Lah’s room  at 9:30 a.m.  regarding class rings.   (Office)

4.      Dress up  day today is “Summer in Ely Day”  for grades 9-12.   Tomorrow will be “Healthcare Day”.   (Mrs. Lassi)
 
5.      Cocoa & Donut Social   will be today during 2nd hr. in the cafeteria.   Students should report to their 2nd hr. class for attendance and your teacher will dismiss you to the social. Donuts $ .75,  Hot Chocolate $ .50,   if you buy both the cost is  $1.00 (C. DeRemee/Mrs. Lassi)
 
6.      To ALL students who are going to participate in spring athletic activities:  you MUST have a physical exam on file in the athletic office prior to the first day of practice.  You will not be allowed to practice until you have an exam on file.  If you are unsure of whether you need a physical, see Mr. Omerza.  (Mr. Omerza)

9.      Grades 10 & 11:  ZAPS Learning Company is offering an ACT Test Prep Session at Mesabi Range College in Virginia on March 2. This course is a 6 hour session that presents the 4 sections of the ACT, study skills, and practice tests. ECR is offering 12 full scholarships to cover the cost of $79. Please see Ms. Pender before February 20th if you are interested. (Ms. Pender)

6.      Accuplacer Test: Students in grades 10 & 11 who meet the GPA requirement and re registering for Concurrent Enrollment Courses next year will take the accuplacer test on Wednesday, Feb. 27th . Students in   10th should go to the computer lab after 1st hr. attendance. Students in 11th grade report to the lab after 5th hr. attendance. 7.      Seniors, remember to complete your FAFSA application ASAP to apply for college financial aid at www.fafsa.gov. See Ms. Pender if you have questions. (Ms. Pender)
